26th January - Republic Day
63rd Republic Day was celebrated at FLAG on 26th January 2012. A speech in Hindi was given by the Head Girl - Bushra Siddiqui and a speech in English was given by the Head Boy - Abhishek Gandhi related to the Constitution of India with emphasis on Lokpal Bill, Corruption and Democracy; followed by a group song.Our PYP Student Council Members also participated for the Republic Day Celebration. A speech in Hindi was given by Samvar Shah; a short poem in Hindi was recited by Khushi Bafna, followed by a group song by Asad Dhorajiwala, Ishaan Sanghvi, Krisha Gogri and Khushi Bhatia. 23rd December - Annual Day Show - Made In India
FLAG's Annual Day show 'Made In India' - An interactive show unraveling the magnificent mysteries of incredible India. Conceptualised & directed by Raell Padamsee's ACE productions. This show was held at Sophia Bhabha Hall on Friday, 23rd December 2011. Students from Grade 3 upwards participated in this act. FLAG's Annual Day show 'Are You Ready?' - An interactive evening of rhythm, movement, drama & song conceptualized & directed by Raell Padamsee's ACE productions was held at Sophia Bhabha Hall on Thursday, 22nd December 2011. FLAG Students from Grades 8, 11 & 12 participated in the Limca Book of Records Quiz 2011 Inter school Round which was held in Mumbai at the Ecole Mondiale World School on September 15, 2011. Launched in 2008 the Limca Book of records quiz has always been driven towards the pursuit of knowledge in an engaging entertaining yet competitive manner. FLAG celebrated Independence Day on 15th of August, 2011. Our Chief Guest was Mr. I. M. Zahid - Ex. Asst. Commissioner of Police. Students from Grade 6 enacted a skit and gave a small speech based on the message 'Bring Love Back'. A short speech in English was given by Abhishek Gandhi (Head Boy) and in Hindi by Bushra Siddique (Head Girl). The Event ended with the Chief Guest's speech. 26th January - Republic Day
FLAG celebrated Republic Day on 26th January, 2011. Our Chief Guest was Commander Captain Peter Verghese. Students from Grades 6-8 said a few words and enacted a skit in the National language along with sharing a small English poem. Jai Hind! On Monday 24th January 2011, 30 houses in the village of Vikramgadh were lit up with solar powered lights within a matter of 3 hours by a team of technicians and 23 of our FLAG students from grades 11 and 12. Fazlani L'Academie Globale has made a difference in the lives of these villagers as we have provided them with light for a lifetime. Students from Grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 participated in the Young Mumbai Run organised by the Concern India Foundation on Sunday, 5th December, 2010. It was a 2 km run that started from the Cricket Club of India (CCI) at Churchgate. The Concern India Foundation supports the educational needs of underprivileged children and also supports 175 development oriented grass root programmes serving the needs of children in need, destitute women, the aged, disabled and tribals. FLAG children participated in the celebratory events leading up to Navy Day (December 4), a day dedicated to the brave men, women and families of the Indian Navy at the Gateway of India.Grade 7 students witnessed the 'Beating Retreat and Tattoo Ceremonies' on December 2, 2010 while Grade 6 students went sailing aboard a warship of the Western Fleet - the INS Brahmaputra for the 'Day at Sea' Event on November 29, 2010.
